2x2 advanced
In this method, you will solve the 2x2 in only two steps! however, this comes at a cost of memorizing over 30 algorithms.
The steps are:
1. First Layer
2. Last Layer (CLL)
STEP ONE
The steps are:
1. First Layer
2. Last Layer (CLL)
STEP ONE
in this step, we solve the first LAYER, not the first face, so the side stickers have to be solved too. This is significantly harder than first face to plan out, so it will take some practice. You must plan out the entire step during inspection to get sub- 3 second times.
STEP TWO
in this step, we solve the last layer in one algorithm.
1. Recognize the shape of the layer.
2. Recognize the colors.
3. Do the algorithm.
The algorithms for this step is in Algorithms -> 2x2 CLL.
Here are some tips for recognition and execution of the algorithms.
When we recognize the colors, try to look for "bars" and "opposites"

Remember, red is opposite orange, white is opposite yellow and green is opposite blue.
The grey pieces mean that they do not matter what color they are.
There are seven types of shapes of the last layer.
U means no swap,
D means diagonal swap,
R, L means right or left swap, and
F, B means front or back swap.
If you master this method you will be sub 3 seconds easily. If you want to really up your 2x2 game, then you should consider learning the expert method (EG)
